Background and Process

Comments will be reviewed by members of the management committee for the testing standards to determine the breadth and scope of the revision.

The management committee will determine the general focus and scope of the revision and appoint members of a Joint Committee on the Revision of the Testing Standards that will be responsible for the revision.

Comments will be shared with AERA, APA and NCME who may consider them in submitting organizational feedback and priorities for the revision later this year.

In addition, Members of the Joint Committee will have access to all comments once they have been appointed, but may not necessarily consider all comments in their revision.

Once an initial draft revision of the Testing Standards has been developed it will be available on this website for review and comment (not expected prior to 2008-9).
